The aIAM difference

aIAM students receive a comprehensive education taught by caring faculty with real-world experience. But that’s not all. They also develop an essential appreciation for the connections between mind and body and the importance of understanding the parts in relation to the whole. Our students are immersed in an environment that is encouraging, supportive, and deeply caring, not just between faculty, staff, and students, but also among the students themselves.

To date, there are over 3,000 aIAM alumni who received the competency, interpersonal, and business skills to help them build satisfying careers all around the world.

Our faculty and students bring tremendous diversity of experience and background to the aIAM community. We honor the hard work and commitment of our single parents and new Americans; second-career seekers and recent high school graduates; people of color and members of the LGBTQIA+ community; service members and their military families. All are welcome.

At aIAM, we don’t operate like an institution.
We support each other as a family—one that teaches and learns together, helps each other through challenges, celebrates successes, and ultimately sends the best practitioners off to make a difference in their communities.

aIAM is located on a quiet, tree-lined street. Our building houses our classes, administrative offices, and our community clinic which offers appointments in medical massage therapy, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, reflexology, and cupping.

If you’re new to Columbus, there’s a lot to discover. Though known by many as the home of the BIG 10’s Ohio State Buckeyes, Columbus is an eclectic mix of diverse neighborhoods and a melting pot of ethnic cuisine. From arts to sports, food to fun, aIAM students find there is something for everyone in Ohio’s capital city.
